Chance of seeing heartbeat at 5.5?

I'm under the consultant at Epsom for previous multiple miscarriages and I've been booked in for a scan in a few days when I'll only be 5w 5d. (Estimated obviously).

I was going to hold off having a scan until at least 8 weeks to ensure that if a heartbeat was going to be found, I would be in no doubt.

Might I see one?

I saw a heartbeat at 5-6 weeks. Good luck!

I saw hb at 5+1. Good luck xxx

You could see one at that stage although if your dates are out even by a couple of days you might not see one yet. Must be hard not to worry though. Good luck, I really hope you see one for your piece of mind.

On Monday I had a scan and the sonographer said I was at 5 weeks. The only part I could 'see' was the flicker of the heartbeat. I was surprised, but apparently it can be there at 5 weeks.

I saw a poster on the wall in EPAU today saying 39-41 days of pregnancy (6/7 weeks)

We saw our little bean heartbeating away at about 7 weeks... might be faint but good luck!

We (surprisingly but wonderfully) saw a heart beat at 6-7 weeks.

Sorry that's not particularly helpful, but it's all I have.
