lower abdominal pain- help!

I posted last week about having aches and pains in lower left hand side of abdomen- went to dr who wasn't sure what it was and that poss was urine infection or growing pains.

They seemed to die down- but now I have really painful aches down left hand of side of abdomen again- when I stand up I am doubled over in pain and often have problem walking for a few seconds. Last night I hardly slept as everytime I turned over I felt really bad pulling pains.

Have contacted my midwife who has said that it sounds like a pulled ligament/ growing pains or poss urine infection ( not had results back yet!)

HAs anyone experienced pain like this? is it normal? Sometimes goes into my bum and lady area(!!) gosh how am I going to cope with labour??!!

I'm 19 weeks preg!

possible sciatica?

I had ligament pain constantly whilst pg, on sides - either side of my bump - could be quite painful and did double me up.

Especially if I strained or after going to the loo

Have had it 3 times during this pregnancy all 3 turned out to be water infection just make sure you drink lots and lie down rather than sit....i found out the hard way kept ignoring it the 2nd time and then admitted into hospital and put on a drip!!! hope you get well soon!!!xxx

That sounds like SPD to me.

Symphasis pubis dysfunction. Got to go do dinners now so google it but i'll come back later......

I had exactly the same pains at 20 weeks..i ended up in A and E as midwives didnt want to know...they thought water infection, then appendix..turned out it was severe ligament pain. I couldnt straigten up or anything as the pain so bad....

It went as quick as it came a few days later..i was advised to use hot water bottle and paracetamol but to be honest they didnt work..
