LAMISIL cream during pregnancy

I was prescribed Lamisil cream 2 weeks ago by a GP (who knew I am pregnant) but a different GP today said to stop using it as its safety is not established in pregnant women.

Now I don't know what to think and am worried about the baby.

Anyone else used Lamisil cream during pregnancy or know anything about it?

Thanks

I think (and a quick google confirms) its one of those 'hasn't been tested/can't say it's safe but its probably ok' types. I doubt it's done much harm. Where are you applying it?

It's unlikely to have done any direct harm then! I'd stop using it if that's what your doctor suggested but I think it should be ok. Geberly they can only say what's definitely not ok e.g. Ibuprofen

Hope you're right. Just a bit worried, as well as annoyed that a GP would have prescribed it if it isn't advised during pregnancy. The problem for which it was prescribed is pretty minor
