What to Expect When You're Expecting is a good one - easy to read, has everything you need to know plus chapters on every stage of pregnancy, baby development, chapter for hubby / dp, labour options etc.

I liked 'what not to expect when you're expecting' by Zoe Williams. She writes for the guardian and is funny and well informed. But 'what to expect' is the bible when it comes to a solid reference book. It covers everything
