Any medical types about? Flu jab + Whooping cough jab + 250g Amoxicillin at 38 wks? Is this ok for baby?

I have 2 vaccinations tomorrow and have been put on Amoxicillin for a UTI. Can baby take this cocktail?
I am worried it's an awful lot at once but I can't leave the WC jab as his is my last week for effectiveness.
Really had to fight for this jab too as doctor was so uninterested.

Would really appreciate any help.

Yes baby will be fine! (I'm a GP) Penicillins are safe and widely used in pregnancy and it won't make any difference you taking it at the same time as having both the jabs. I had mine a couple of weeks ago, one in each arm - the WC arm was rather achey for a day or two afterwards but no other adverse effects. The flu jab can make some people feel a little flu-ey afterwards although lots of people feel no different. The vaccines aren't live so won't affect baby, and definitely wise to be having them. All the WC vaccine threads lately have made me extra paranoid I suppose. Plus DM and her " you're not going to have it, are you?" talks are getting me down.

There is always a fair amount of negativity regarding things like vaccines in pregnancy, or vaccines in general, or anything in pregnancy! They aren't live vaccines though and the US have been giving the WC vacc to their pregnant women for over a year now. The WC vaccine works by mum building up antibodies to the vaccines (which takes about 2 weeks) and then these antibodies cross the placenta and give baby short-term immunity, which will last until the childhood vaccination program starts (with DTP vacc at 2,3 and 4 months). The vaccine given to mum is the exact same DTP vacc which baby will be getting in a couple of months time. I work in S Wales and we've had a big outbreak in this area which started back in April - our practice has had more than a dozen confirmed cases and I've seen several people with it myself (thankfully avoided it personally). In adults it makes you unwell and gives you the horrible bouts of coughing which drag on for weeks / months, but it is in babies that it is serious and can be life-threatening. When you've seen babies struggling to breathe with it on the SCBU you book yourself in for the WC vaccine asap, trust me!

Goodness, it sounds awful and must be terrifying having to watch a newborn with it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer me and explain it all so clearly. My doctor is not very helpful on the subject and just shrugged at me when I asked about it. So frustrating. You're sometimes made to feel like an irrational pregnant woman!
