Maybe pregnant and have a terrible cold. Cant breath and need sleep. Can I use olbas oil? If not I have Karvol and Vicks.

I used it through my last pg, just don't over do it. I think I put it on a tissue in my pillowcase. I did a few steaming sessions with the least amount of drops I could manage. After I had DD and was BF I had a stinking cold and used the sterile saline nasal spray [for babies] and that helped keep my snot loose at night to get some sleep. It just makes it run, so if you use it keep a tissue handy. Try not to blow though as that makes it worse. And plenty of vaseline to reduce the rudolf effect. Equally kleenex balm tissues are good for sore noses. [just don't use them to clean your glasses!]

I've been using it on a tissue next to my pillow, just a few drops... it helps
