Anyone else having weird dreams?

Im approximately 13wks (scan on Monday :D) and for the last week or so I've been having odd, obsessive dreams about babies! For instance last night I dreamed I went for my scan, which was in full colour and looked like a full term baby, and was told it was a any even though I feel my baby is a girl. Then on the way out I realised I didnt have any scan photos so I ran back in and was told to sit and wait and see if i could have another quick scan. At some point during the wait my ds turned into Freddie Star! I can't remember too much more of the dream but they're starting freak me out a bit lol. Anyone else experienced similar?

Had very odd dreams about having 5 babies last night (had 5 golf-sized moving lumps on my bump (no bump yet as approx 10 weeks).

Had two boy babies (the others were alien types) named by others as Stephen and Robert so I would announce them as Baby A and B instead.

Much more weirdness that I have since forgotten and this is not the first time I've had odd baby dreams (sometimes baby is the size of a tadpole and I keep losing it).

Would be interested to hear if others are 'blessed' with this!

I have very weird dreams but they don't involve babies, which I suppose makes them even weirder! The other night I dreamt I went to the moon with a few other people, some of whom didn't even have space suits on (but were fine ) and I just felt cold and rather unimpressed. I had batshit crazy dreams when pg with DS too probably something to do with the hormones.

I have said this on mn before but I had very regular filthy dreams about Peter Jones from Dragons Den for the whole 9 months! Stopped as soon as I had ds, ttc again and I hope next time they are about someone gorgeous and not Peter!

Interestingly a couple of the mums-to-be on another thread in the last 2 weeks of pregnancy have mentioned having the dreams about miniature baby and fear of losing him in the bed! I'm 38+5 now and getting vivid dreams every night - they were about labour for a while (I guess that might be on my mind!) but also some unpleasant ones about arguing with dh.

You guys are as reassuring as ever, I was starting to think i was an obsessive freak! Its every night Im dreaming weird baby dreams, even labour ones and Im not even in the second trimester yet!
Wonder what tonight will bring?!

Well, tonight bought a dream including a very filthy, passionate affair with an old colleague (who I never really saw eye to eye with).

I think you guys sharing filthy dreams has impacted on me as instead of babies last night i had a filthy dream too! Don't worry it retained the weirdness factor by including a trek up the amazon river but also included a lot of people from my past including 2 ex's one of whom i clearly remember getting down n dirty with!

I wish I would have filthy dreams instead of stupid ones about going the moon and having to catch criminals :(

Yes crazy dreams here too but rarely dream I'm pregnant. Usually I wake up and remember!

Loads of filthy dreams here, too - apparently my subconscious has no taste or morals!

I had a dream last night that I woke up and was giving birth. The baby just popped out and I was thinking "can't believe people make such a fuss about giving birth"

panda I had a similar one last night. Was having a picnic and suddenly there was baby on the rug and I said "oh hello I didn't notice you come out" deluded much?!

I'm putting this on my birth plan!

21+3 here and had my first filthy dream last night. Like inherently mind was also about a lady, but luckily I think she was pure fiction.

For some reason I was auditioning ladies for the lead role in the taming of the shrew (no idea why, have never worked in or around the theatre), and I seem to recall a 4 poster bed! [Blush] I don't know quite what to make of this - I blush if dp so much as punches my bottom!

Still, it beats the work related nightmare I had on tuesday night. Also I've found that whenever I wake up after a particularly vivid dream I am able to feel LOTS of movement, which always makes me smile

Pinches, not punches! Ours is not that kind of relationship!

I had loads when preg including filthy dreams about random men from my past/present and also that I gave birth to a border collie and was most disappointed.

Blimey I wish I had nice dreams. I've had none about dp buggering off with another woman and the other is possibly best not mentioned as I woke in tears. It was so bizarre it couldn't be true but I felt dreadful after and it involved my beloved spaniel :-(

callin are you sure you want them?!? Peter Jones? FYI he kept his stripey socks on its the one thing I am dreading if I have another baby I used to wake up. and shudder.

Good point memphis. A filthy dream with Peter Jones in his stripey socks is more a nightmare really. Still, the dreams about fighting and alien invasion using only a pistol aren't much better. Sigh.

Cailin I thought that I was missing out on a yet another part of pregnancy by not having dirty dreams. Now DP is sayin that he "always knew" I was a secret lesbian and Memphis has suffered a real atrocity. Though highly entertaining, these dreams aren't all they're cracked up to be!
