Up at least a couple of times a night to pee (38+3 here). And if I wake up because of something else or have to get up with ds, I always have to go. Not much room in my bladder right now!

Gingerbreadlatte · 16/10/2012 08:44

I was awake at least 6 times last night. Need to visit bathroom and sheer agony from my SPD- turning over is like trying to move an oil tanker and it fricking hurts.

Feeling like death warmed up today.... very glad to be on mat leave now!

37+3 here.

DinosaurSchool · 16/10/2012 09:21

Dc1 and dc2 it felt like I had to wee every ten minutes in the day and was up 4 or 5 times a night.

Dc3 I could sleep all night and weed normally in the day.

I don't know why, she wasn't breech or anything.

I still remember the satisfaction of the massive wee I did after dc2. It was the first proper one I'd done in months Grin

Natanotherone · 16/10/2012 11:30

37+5 here and up every couple of hours in the night to wee... So annoying! :)

weeblueberry · 16/10/2012 11:46

I'm only 10+5 and I'm getting up in the night to pee. VERY unlike me. I really was hoping it wouldn't continue the whole way through the pregnancy. Sad

I had interesting guidance on this in antenatal physio class. You're bladder doesn't get smaller in pregnancy, but there is more pressure on it (baby/uterus). Your brain is tricked into thinking bladder is full sooner - you get up as you're afraid of wetting yourself. Often if you just wait 5 mins, you'll fall back to sleep. Waking once in the night especially if you've drank a lot near bedtime is fine, but 5 times is just psychological, try to train yourself to wait!

im only 18 wk and im up at least once, normally twice a night then getting up earlier in the mornings as well once im awake i might as well get up. Is this really going to continue and get worse?

xnancyx · 16/10/2012 15:28

I only found out I'm pregnant yesterday (think I'm about 4 weeks) and the last 2 weeks I have been up every night for a pee and I never ever get up! Guess I should get used to it!

xx

30 weeks with twins and I never have to get up to pee in the night! I have a Bladder of Steel :D

sammyleh · 16/10/2012 16:54

I'm up once or twice a night, have been since the start... and last night I actually didn't make it to the loo!

Sastra · 16/10/2012 19:03

38 weeks and up every two hours to pee. GET OUT OF ME, BABY!

HaveALittleFaith · 17/10/2012 06:49

I'm only 12 weeks but with a chronic uribary tract problem. I'm already up 2-3 times a night. I'm doomed, aren't I?!

allchik · 17/10/2012 07:41

3wheels good advice! Tried it last nite, still got up twice but not 5 or 6 like normal!x

ThreeWheelsGood · 17/10/2012 07:42

That's excellent allchik!

GrandPoohBah · 17/10/2012 08:25

Me too Feesh with the bladder of steel! 33+5 and I'm not getting up in the night - I sometimes get forced out of bed a little earlier than I would usually, but I'm sleeping through.

Sastra · 17/10/2012 09:20

Hmm, I would expect that if it were psychological I would get to the loo and only have a little wee. That's not the case though!

xmasevebundle · 17/10/2012 11:30

Im the same Sad 30w and i get up at least 5 times a night! Even worse when your sleepy and start walking in walls and doorsBlush
