Return of periods post baby. Experiences anyone?

My son is 6 months old and breastfed. We had a slight accident with a condom two and a half weeks ago. 4 days later I had ovulation pains for the first time since baby (sharp pain on RHS). A week after that I had really bad period pains for a few days. I have had no pain now for a few days, but no sign of my period either. Can anyone remember getting pains a few weeks before the return of the periods after birth? I am really hoping I am not pg so soon, but a wondering why the period pain and now nothing. Thoughts?

hello. my baby now 9 mths and bf and no periods at all. i do get cramps though. not sure i know what ov feels like. are u worried about pg? cd u do a test?

I had pains a bit like that months ago, but my periods only came back this month (ds is 16mo now).

OTOH, I had a caesarean and I'm not sure if the pains were more to do with the scar tissue.

Yes, I am worrying about being pregnant, so will probably test at the weekend if my period doesn't show.

I also had a caesarean, so maybe that is what it is.

I feel ovulation as a sharp pain on the rhs or lhs. I am pretty sure that is what I felt shortly after our accident.
