My boss has asked when I get it and I can't remember? Is it at 24 week appointment?

I got mine at my 22 week appointment. If you don't have an appointment at 22 weeks (I didn't have one for 24 -I think it differs from place to place) then probably yes, at your 24 week appointment.

You may have to remind them though! It's not a main priority for them.

Yes (tho my appointment was actually at 22w and I got mine then - it depends when your appt is!).

20-25w - but ask. You need to give it to work by 25w to be sure of getting maternity pay.

Right fab so il get it next week at my 24 week appointment. I thought it was around then. Thanks

Do some authorities send them straight to your employer? When I got a letter from my work after I gave them my proposed maternity leave dates, their letter said they'd received my MATB1, but I've never even seen them.

Secondsop · 02/10/2012 12:55

Seen IT, rather (the form).

I'm on my second pregnancy, saw my MW at 16 weeks and won't see her again until 28 weeks. I just called and left a message for her asking for my MATB1 form, she did the form and left it at my GP's reception for me to collect.

You can get it any time after 20 weeks, but work need it by 25 weeks.

I got mine at my 24 week appointment. Might be a good idea to photocopy once it's filled in, I was glad I did as it turned out my Husband needed a copy for his paternity leave

I forgot mine and handed it in at 32 weeks. Oops but it's al Nhs with me so might get away with it Grin
