Anyone know if they are ok to use. I have mine on a low heat for about 1 hr after ive gone to bed but now ive read that they shouldnt been used and im stressing.

The electric over blankets are better.

I used one for my whole pregnancy and i had a healthy pregnancy, and bubs was fine. Why are they not safe to use during pregnancy?

something to do with the fact that they raise your body temperture too much, similar to hot baths and saunas.
I didnt even think there would be a problem using them until I read it somewhere.

i stopped using ours a month or so before I was due -- thought I might electrocute myself if my waters burst overnight
can't believe it could do any harm, myself, on a low heat
