That's it really - slipped on a tray my darlingest daughter (!) left on the floor, ended up doing the splits (as much as you can when you're nearly 36 weeks pregnant) and landed hard on tiled floor.

Feeling all shaky and a bit stupid!

Tortoiseshell - poor you. At least your fall happened in 'private' - when I was 36 weeks I fell over on the pavement in full view of about twenty cars and a double decker stopped at traffic lights. To compound my mortification I landed on my shopping and managed to explode a bag of ready made salad all over the pavement. Worse still, I was so huge I couldn't get up and struggled for ages while loads of people just walked past. I went home and bawled my head off!

If you're worried at all go and get checked out but otherwise have a cup of tea and a biscuit. :)

Thanks! Not worried actually - baby is kicking away! Yes, I'm very grateful it happened in private. Did laugh about your salad zippy!

Enid - dh is going to pub tonight, so am going to get children in bed, then curl up on sofa in front of America's Next Top Model!

i fell twice during pregnancy with dd2 - one from a chair - my own stupid fault - rickety chair... standing on chair - one leg gave way. The baby kicked up a storm - obviously not happy about being bumped about. Another time - on my way to an antenatal appt.... fell down our front stairs - whilst carrying 2yo.... Again the GP said as long as the baby was moving - we checked everything anyway. But she said that movement was always a good sign.

hope you feel okay soon.
