I have been told at my 20 week scan that my placenta is completely covering my cervix and I have to go back for another scan at 32 weeks to see if it has moved. I know that the placenta normally does move, but does anyone know the likely hood of it moving enough to not need a cesarean if it completely covers the cervix?

I was told this too at my 20 week scan and I think it's 9/10 will move so you can go on to have a vaginal birth.

I'm 33+5 weeks now and my scan is booked for 35+2 (I haven't had any scans between then and now) so they obviously don't think it's anything to be worried about!

They only said to do anything (eg contact midwife/hospital) if I started bleeding and so far I haven't.
