Not a f*ing clue what it looks like down there but am anticipating a train wreck after birth anyway, so :-p

Holy shit Biggem! Shaving legs AND lady garden trimming? I am very impressed. I shaved my legs last week after just turning 37 weeks - an awful lot of grunting went on. DH is on va-jay-jay trimming duty.

Hmmm ok - not physical but at 38 weeks I have just launched two corporate websites. My brain literally imploded from the mental exertion involved

And! I've just come back from a Saturday morning in PRIMARK (yes, caps!) picking up last minute cheap homebirth things.

The primarni trip is impressive!!
And as for having the mental capacity to launch a website...
I thought about putting DH on duty but thought he might go a bit mad or a bit too horny. Neither of which I'm a fan of

Saturday in Primark surely beats anything, pregnant or not :o

I look back at mine and think "WTF was I thinking?!"

Since 32 weeks (currently 40+6) I've, Moved house, put a planning application in with the council having done the sketches myself, launched a new business with three members of staff, sorted out all their payroll etc for the first 4 months, sued an architect in small claims court and worked 10 hours a day looking after pre-schoolers until 38 weeks.

Nothing physical though, I can barely open a jar of pickled onion!

I walked 4 miles home after a meal out last night. I'm 41 weeks

Biggem oh yes. I'm not fed up, but I'm desperate to meet my baby!

Oooh, I'm glad it's not just me who gets DH to do the hair removal "down there"! Thought maybe I was asking a bit too much of him . Although when he was doing it he did say "you do know there are dodgy websites featuring this kind of thing"

Travelling a 4 hour ferry journey and 3 hour car journey at 37 weeks and doing the return leg at 41 weeks - had to be done though DFIL's illness and then funeral

I got a bikini wax at 36 weeks. That was agony adventurous.

I also attempted to demonstrate a cartwheel at mininastics with 2yo DS but couldn't quite manage it

I'm still managing to preen myself at 40+11, sometimes on my own with a stool and mirror in the shower or if i'm having a bath i get dp to hold the mirror. :)

Went swimming twice last week and a few walks. Been to a 1yr olds party this morning, then went for a walk after (all after my 2nd sweep at 9.30am today)

I swam 100 lengths at 41+something. The poor lad who was the lifeguard at the pool look terrified the whole time I was in there!!

I swam a mile 76 lenght? every week till I was induced at 41 + 3 with ds... was meant to give me an easier birth as it didn't I've sat on my bum for majoirty of last 40 week .. did decorate living room on due date and have new carpet layed this afternoon at + 5 days ! Sadly it hasn't tempted my waters to burst on it lol

I went to a music festival and did a 4 mile run at 36 weeks and went to the gym on my due date last week.

I am actually going to go in the morning too and get up an appetite for roast pork and crackling and lemon meringue cheesecake for lunch.

Slightlysuperiorpeasant I am contemplating a brazilian just not sure I can be arsed to get the tube into covent garden where my waxer is....

A 1 year old's party sounds like the most hectic thing of all Mikyahrose!

I wouldn't recommend it. Usually waxing doesn't phase me but last week it hurt so much my muscles spasmed and I couldn't get off the couch. The therapist had to roll me off!

Pollu, you're still here!! How was greenman? I went for a wax (as usual) at 12 weeks pregnant and whimpered with the pain :(

Hello shouldibecrossabout this!! It was really fun though so muddy. We didn't camp, we had a B&B. Saw lots of good music, saw some of the literature/comedy stuff, had great food, a massage. I got told to take it easy when I was dancing to metronomy - think a few people were slightly alarmed! We were right at the back at the top of the hill though so at a safe distance.

Did you have fun? We actually only went into the festival for friday afternoon and left about 8 to have dinner at a local pub, then saturday went in from 2-midnight but then got stuck in the mud in the car! That was a hairy moment as I was shattered - thought we would have to stay in the car overnight for about 30 minutes!

I've just had a party for 28 five year olds and catered for it myself. Having been fairly sprightly throughout my pregnancy I think this may have finished me off. I actually feel like I may die. 37 weeks.

At 38 weeks I assembled a high sleeper bed and a mid sleeper bed and dismantled bunk beds. By myself when DH was at work. I have never been so tired in all my life.

I ate 2 chocolate eclairs in bed this afternoon.

Am only 31 weeks though, so given a bit more time I reckon I could manage 3.

I moved house from Yorkshire to London in wk 39 of my last pregnancy. I also regularly did cartwheels right through to 39 wks, and taught others to do cartwheels. Labour started about 12 hours after I finished work for mat leave. Between finishing work and starting labour I did the whole of my Christmas shopping including Christmas/ Boxing Day dinners. I think we still have a tin of marons glace that never made it into our chestnut and chocolate torte. This time, I'm going to take my annual leave before my due date and have at least ten minutes off before the baby arrives, as the birth does not, as I had somehow supposed, signal the end of the physical trial and the beginning of a calm and quiet period with the new baby...
