Flying in pregnancy

Hi All,
I'm 17 weeks pregnant and due to fly next month to America. Any advice on keeping well? Have bought compression socks to reduce DVT risk, but packet says not to use if pregnant - has anyone else used these?
Thanks

I flew at about 23 weeks. I used compression stockings (a pair that I had for surgery a couple of years ago!), sat in the aisle seat so I could get up and walk around a lot and drank plenty of water. Have you asked your midwife about the stockings? I had an appointment with my midwife just before I left too to check all was fine but that was partly because I was relocating.
