Hello wondering if anyone can please give me some advice! I came off the pill on 22nd July and got my period the next day as expected. When I did a pregnancy test on 26th August it was positive! We were delighted and it was very unexpected! Due to light bleeding I went for a scan last week and an internal scan showed 3 sacks but nothing else could be seen. We were told that it was at a 5 week stage and according to my last period I should be 8 weeks! I was told to come back in 2 weeks for another scan. The dates could be wrong as I had just stopped the pill or if not then it has gone wrong. The bleeding has continued mainly lightly since then but over the past few days has been a bit heavier with cramping at night time and heavier at night.
Every morning I wake up and think the worst and then feel more positive as the day goes on. If it is a miscarriage I can deal with it but it is the not knowing that is frustrating.
Thanks for any advice

Hiya, I don't have any advice but Disnt want to leave your thread un answered. it's such a worrying time & I hope everything turns out ok for you. What colour is your blood? If it's brownish it's supposedly old blood and nothing to worry about. I didn't have bleeding but had agonising cramps early on and was actually told to go home and wait for a bleed!!! (DS1 is now 23 weeks) I was so nervous waiting 2 weeks for the 2nd internal scan, so no how you feel.

Anyway stay strong, relaxed & rested if possible. Hope time goes quickly
Xxx

Thank you justhayley for your reply! Bleeding is quite red a bit like a period but not as heavy and have had a few little clots. I don't think it is good but will just have to wait and see what happens. Such an emotional roller coaster. Thank you
