Please can someone help me.. I am 34week and 2 days, I cycled 6miles this morning very gently on the flat with no problems but have just been to the toilet and noticed a pinky/red patch in my pants. Not sure if this was caused by cycling (I'm a very active person and bump is very small) or is something else going on?? I don't really have any pains just feel heavy and need a wee every 10mins. Baby very active today too!
Any advice greatly appreciated please. L x

Did you have any chaffing from the cycle? TMI but when I had thrush a while ago my skin on my fanjo sometimes bled a bit.

If you think its coming from inside you should call your MW or the hospital.

Hi. It's def coming from internally. It seems to have stopped now, I'm thinking may be the activity just caused a change. L

I'd call the MW if I were you. I had something similar at 34 weeks, and a few times since, they think its cervical erosion.

However, if its snotty like could be part of your plug. Call just in case

Sounds like it could be part of your mucus plug. I think it can start to pass weeks before delivery but I'd call your midwife to be sure.

Did sonographer pick up issues of position of placenta at 20 week scan? Pinkish painless bleeding can be a sign of placenta previa. Can be serious but v manageable. Might be nothing like that but you need to contact midwife. Good luck. X

Get checked....I had similar at 34 weeks and a few days later my daughter was born. It might be nothing, but get it checked. My MW told me off for not having called the hospital immediately when I went in to my apptmt crying (had been worrying about it for a couple of days). She sent me straight to the hospital to get checked. DD was born the next day.

Thanks everyone, I have had no more shows of anything abnormal, I will call my midwife tomorrow morning and see what she thinks. Thanks again for all your time in replying. X
