Mw yesterday thought I was measuring big for 27 weeks and wants me to have ultrasound next week. Should I be worried?

is this first baby? I have measured big for all my bubs and #4 is currently 14 weeks and measuring nearly 16 weeks on a clinic uss! My smallest baby was 8 lb 7 and biggest 9 lb 7... so not small.. my obs is not concerned not altered my dates just dsiad oh well another big bub.. and moved on. they will want to know if you are diabetic.. if not they will usually not deliver early. so no don't worry!

These things aren't an exact science it's probably just a precaution to check the baby and fluid levels Smile I'm 26 weeks and have never had my bump measured, this one or first one.

Don't worry. I had the same thing. Dd was 8lb9oz and thy thought she measured normal. The scan has shown this one isnt abnormally large but they reckon 9lb at least, and also seems to have a big head (like his dad Wink). They generally just want to rule out things like too much water, etc. And if baby is big but GTT comes back low risk they never quite believe you!

Gtt back today and all normal.
