Im about to get some knickers for after the birth. I'm thinking m&s black cotton ones.

Should I get the huge full brief ones? And do they need to be bigger than my normal size?

Ooh, I'm interested in this too. I ordered a Debenhams multi-pack (cheaper) of full-brief knickers two sizes larger than I usually wear. They come up to my tummy button so are very fetching! I thought I'd just bin them once the lochia stops, so I suppose it doesn't matter what they look like.

I got black big full on granny pants from Asda or Matalan I think. I'm normally a 12 and think I bought 16 or could have been 18Blush. I word them for a few weeks with my big maternity pads and then chucked them out. Big hold your tummy in ones felt a bit better than havi thd empty but not gone yet skin wobbling on thd top of bikini briefs Grin. I did feel like a Russian shotputter though Grin

After the birth I would get a shed load of tesco value ones and just bin them afterwards. They do huge really cheap pants which are comfy.

They will get pretty nasty! Blush

Cool, I might just pop down to primark and stock up. I'm secretly looking forward to it - I bet they're dead comfy Grin

I still wear the value pants that were left over. I can almost get them over my boobs too!

yes sastra get them . I bought these when I was pregnant with DD1 and I loved them , they are so comfy and very stretchy.

I have a pair on now and still wear them

PinkFondantFancy · 20/09/2012 13:50

I got big black primark ones and binned them after!

Smicha · 20/09/2012 15:34

I got huge ones from Asda and Tesco as they cost nothing and like ThunderboltKid once I tried them on there was no going back! I had to buy more for my hospital bag as at 38 weeks the others are now my day to day pants!! DH isn't so sure about them, but at this stage who cares! Wink

I bought 2 packs of M&S black giant pants for after birth. I was a size 10 pre preg and a preg size 12. I've bought a pack of 14's (for right after) and a pack of 12's (as I figure after bump has gone down I'll still want some big pants just in case)

I bought massive M&S ones - real belly warmers :o I'm having a CS so have been well warned about getting ones that come up well above the scar...
