Sainburys pregnancy tests - does anyone know what this could mean?

Right, well, I got a pregnancy test from Sainsburys yesterday. Two of them for less than 4 pounds seemed like a good deal and I have a sneaking suspicion because although I'm two days off the day my period is due I'm not getting those usual warning cramps that I'd normally have started getting five days ago. Anyway, I got home and took it. They work by making a cross shape in the test window for a positive result, and a horizontal line for a negative, and there's also a control window. Anyway, as soon as I took the test the horizontal line appeared, so I thought it was negative, but when I looked closer a minute later there was a very faint and considerably skinnier line going all the way through it, making up the cross but very very faintly. My partner said he couldn't see it so I shook it off, but I looked at it a couple of hours later and it's definetely there, but it doesn't really look like the other line apart from it being the same colour as it's much skinnier. Do any of you have any idea? I'm starting to feel cramps now but I honestly can't tell if I'm iminagining them or not =S

No I haven’t done anymore as this was only taken today. I’m going to wait till Friday morning and use a red dye test and update.

Day 40... 8 days late. All negative tests :( what's happening?!

I did another test myself and it was negative, I ended up having my cycle. Maybe speak to a gp, it’s possible you might need a blood test just to definitely rule out your not pregnant. Best of luck.
