TMI - Leaking boobs

Sorry, im just a bit wierded out by it. I know its colostrum but theres quite a bit, seems to be when DD is around and she has started to take a keen interest in my boobs too, shes 14 months.

Im 22 weeks pg with DC2, this didnt start until about 3 days before i had DD and she was 9 days early. Does it mean this baby is going to be early or is it just my body being a bit too ready?

I had a terrible time breastfeeding last time, it was so painful and stressful and my supply was soooo low that i ended up having to combine with formula and soon ended up totally ff but i am commited to trying again this time, is this a good sign??

This is quite normal and doesn't mean that baby will be early. I had very leaky boobs during my first pregnancy - I only had to brush my arm across my boob and it would like. I had to start wearing nursing shields early on or I'd have wet patches across my chest.

Very normal and no sign that baby will come early.

It takes up to a week for milk to come in and topping up with formula will lower your supply so please make sure you get plenty of support if you want to feed next time from a bf counsellor. Most areas have drop in clinics and your HV and midwife should be able to help you access support too. Good luck with dc2!

I've had bits of colostrum leaking since about 19 weeks.. now 28 weeks and it's still happening and no signs of being early. Also had lots of Braxton Hicks since about the same time.

I don't know if it's a good sign but I would think it can't be a bad sign iyswim? shows your boobs are gearing up.

I wouldn't worry, when i was pregnant with dd my boobs were like taps from about 20 weeks, i would wake up soaking wet from it!

today (21 weeks) and its started again. boobs are very odd things, it is just your body getting ready to feed.
