It's not just you. I've been racking my brains for a day to remember who my mortgage is with.

terilou87 · 17/09/2012 13:31

iv been very much like this i couldnt remember my home telephone number the other day,
secondsop have you tried ringing your bank and asking who you pay the money to?

Secondsop · 17/09/2012 13:39

Terilou, thanks for the suggestion, I'll look it up in the papers when I'm up and about - I don't really need to know urgently but I was just trying to remember it and got alarmed at how it had completely left my mind!

lotsofcheese · 17/09/2012 19:11

I am only 5 weeks & doing REALLY stupid things Blush

CaptainHetty · 17/09/2012 19:13

I almost walked out the door with no shoes on this morning.

Not just you :o

ivanapoo · 17/09/2012 22:40

In the past week alone I've left my car and house keys in a shop, left my mobile phone at work and left my laptop charger at a client's office.

It better bloody be hormones!

Gingerpanther27 · 18/09/2012 01:28

I was waiting for a lift upstairs and my lift was waiting downstairs she left without me didn't realise I was suppose to meet her Blush also left my purse and didn't realise til went to pay at shop

Gingerpanther27 · 18/09/2012 01:29

And I'm 11 weeks

furrygoldone · 18/09/2012 06:16

I had a complete panic a couple of months ago as I thought I'd forgotten my car keys and wouldn't be able to get home from work later, this was as I was in the process of driving to work Blush

EdMcDunnough · 18/09/2012 06:21

Oh it's awful when that happens. I did it once in a shop and I wasn't even pg.

I keep breaking things this time. Last night I crouched down to get something from the fridge and sat on one of the door shelves.

I'm useless. I think it's because everything HURTS so much and I have zero sense of balance.

BionicEmu · 18/09/2012 08:49

Not just you. I'm 21 weeks and did the "what the hell's wrong with my car? Oops, it's not in gear" thing yesterday too!

Wuxiapian · 18/09/2012 13:50

I can't remember what I did yesterday let alone complex issues such as that...

newbie6 · 18/09/2012 13:55

Ha ha, I can so relate to this! I went out the other day and left my 2 dogs in the back garden and the keys in the back door! I'm 22 weeks pregnant so had better watch myself before I leave an open invite to be burgled!

I was in the middle of a conversation with my DH yesterday and completely forgot what we were talking about. He was patiently waiting for me to say something when I had to confess I hadn't a clue what we were discussing.

AbbyRue · 18/09/2012 13:59

I've just spent 10 minutes looking for my glasses - i was already wearing them Blush

mrsdaisaku · 18/09/2012 14:50

haha I've burnt myself three times in the last four weeks. Struggling to string simple sentences together (which isnt clever when you work on the phones). Definitely done the car thing a few times too, left the front door unlocked because I went out the back way. Who knows what else we've all done without even realising Blush

chezziejo · 18/09/2012 17:12

Quite pleased its not just me Grin I've done the whole forgetting things mid sentence too. Not good either when talking to a patients relatives, bet that fills them with confidence. Luckily they had a sense of humour, I felt a prized tit.

Not just you. I forgot what door number I was on our block and pressed the buzzer for the number of our old flat instead of the one we've lived in for 11 months...
