Wheezing in pregnancy?

Yesterday I was worried about having no morning sickness (have gone off my food today) but today I've noticed I'm wheezy. Am 6 weeks with no2, when I was around 14/15 weeks pg with DD - now nearly 4 - I had a mild asthma attack, first ever, and haven't had one since (brought on by being in same flat as some kittens). I thought things like asthma would get better in pregnancy. I'm not asthmatic and only get allergy symptoms at the beginning of hay fever season or when I'm in a really dusty house. I guess I can only use my inhaler? Anyone else had this?

I do have asthma, though it rarely bothers me, usually only when I have a cold. When I was in early pregnancy with DS my asthma got much worse (for some women it gets worse, some better, some unaffected) and I ended up on inhalers throughout. Took about a year after he was born before it went back to normal.

Very strangely, I am currently 11 weeks and my asthma is better this time than it is usually (so far!).

Suspect you may benefit from using your inhaler and a trip to the gp to get peak flows and such checked is prob not a bad idea. Hope you feel better soon.
