So, DH decided to start trying for DC #2 about 4 months ago. I've suspected I may be pregnant for a couple of weeks but was too much of a wimp wary of testing too early following a couple of early MC's pre DS (18 months).
To cut a long story short, I've POAS and it's +ive. I'm terrified!!! It's so stupid I know but I feel like there's a huge difference between 1 DC and 2 DCs! Am I normal?! I really wanted this and I'm thrilled at the +ive result but I'm absolutely pooping myself too!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Totally normal! Was desperate for dc2, now 10+6 and unlike first pregnancy there is guilt (am I ruining our happy little unit) and worry (will I love it as much, will I cope with 2 when I now know what's coming...).
But the longer I'm pg the easier those fears are becoming.
Huge congratulations!

Congratulations! Going from 1 - 2 was really not that bad for me and I have a similar age gap to you. I found pregnancy and looking after a toddler quite hard work but actually having two small children is lovely Grin

I'm in exactly the same boat, with exactly the same concerns! Not much help though Wink

I'm in exactly the same situation. My dd is 18 months old and I got a positive test last week. I'm thrilled but also very scared about how I'll cope. Hopefully the fear will go soon.

Thank you all, glad to know I'm not the only one in this situation! Feel slightly calmer this morning! Wink

Me too! I am 14 weeks and it wasn't until the scan I started actually being pleased about this pregnancy, even though it was planned! I think because we know how hard it is looking after children we,ve got an insight into what's to come, ha ha!
