Just wondered if anyone else has noticed blue lips?

No. I recommend you get medical advice pretty sharpish too as I'm sure it can mean your body isn't getting enough oxygen or can even be due to heart problems, I believe.
It might just be hormonal but best to be on the safe side.
Hope you're ok x

Sorry, didn't mean to sound alarmist!
It's just one of my colleagues started to get blue lips and she had a problem with her lungs that needed treating immediately.

It may be nothing of the sort, of course!

It can also be due to lack of iron, but whatever causes it, you do need to be seen ASAP.

Good luck! Hope it's just hormones x

Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about.

Turns out i had over done it. Pulse and bp were up and oxygen levels were low.
All fine after resting. Thanks for your advice Grin

I am currently 10 weeks with DC#6 and have had a tendency to blueish tinged extremities (lips, fingers and toes) in all my pregnancies for the first couple of months. After this, I then get v hot and no more blue tinge! It is a result of vascular changes due to hormones and honestly it does not mean that you are about to expire :-)). (I am medically trained).
