When were you ready? Baby stuff and hospital bag

Hi ladies, just wondering when you started washing the baby clothes and had your bags packed etc?

I'm 35 weeks and the nursery, hospital bag, clothes etc were all completely finished last week... But I've slowly been doing it for the last 2 months...

My bag was packed from 32 weeks with DS, but my friend due at the same time had an unexpected prem so that altered my planning to much earlier.
Baby clothes I just washed as I bought them. Whole nursery and all clothes sorted by 36 weeks. But then I've always been a bit OCD on the planning front...

33 weeks

Haven't bought a thing. Not even a vest.

Had ds2 last summer so very relaxed about everything. And got the money aside for going to get it all. Just not been yet. Got rid of ds2's things in Jan then found out I was pg in Feb!

Omg! Maybe I've been a bit too relaxed I'm 35 weeks and not done a bag or birth plan or washed any clothes and still some bits to get

When I was about 35 weeks (& DS was already a week old )

I'm not alone then!

I packed my hospital bag whilst I was in labour with :o

I will be preparing bag as I buy this time but then I will be having an ELCS but you never know!

I was pretty much done by 30 weeks with DC1

Decided to get ready by 37 weeks with DC2 (born a few weeks ago). Thought I might be being a bit over eager again, as DC1 was overdue. BUT she arrived unexpectedly at 38+2, and I spent the week before that in and out of the hospital, so I was very glad I'd set that time frame!

I packed my bag, bought a crib & tiny baby clothes the day before & the day I went in to be induced at 36 weeks.

I had planned everything by 35 weeks (knew what I wanted and from where) but crib was 4hours away with my parents and hospital bag was just a pile! So when I had an emergency section at 35+1 it was a bit chaotic!! Luckily(?) We were in hosp for 2 weeks so everyone ran around getting the last bits and moving furniture to fit crib etc had to send mil out to buy bras when my milk came in I hadn't even started mat leave from work, was actually supposed to be at work day he was born and oh had to do a crazy 30min drive to the hosp to get there in time!!

I digress slightly, sorry

I'm 35 weeks and nothing is ready.
DS and DD were both overdue so I think it can wait.

I'm 35wk and had a few cramps today and lost what I think may have been some of my mucus plug so ive just done 'mine' tonight! Tired now so will do baby's in the morning!!

With DS1 though I was ready from
About 33wk and had him at 38wk!

I am 37 weeks and have nothing ready yet. All the stuff is there from DC1 and just needs digging out from the loft. I have already washed a few sleepsuits and vests and bought a small bag of nappies.

I have a strong sense or blind faith that baby is going to arrive on or soon after its due date but absolutely not before.

With DD I was ready from 33weeks.

I'm currently only 20weeks that has gone quick and Dp is already panicking as we only got 10 vests, I've left him doing a list of what we need and came to bed. So if DP gets his own way I will have my bag packed in a few weeks.

I'm 39 weeks and still not done :/

I was ready at about 32 weeks, but due at christmas so knew I had all that stuff to sort so doing the baby stuff early was for convenience
Have to say I didnt launder any baby clothes before I used them though

I'm 37+5 and determined to finish packing today!!! :)

Ahh nothing happened.. Still here! Baby feels like its pushing right down now tho, spent this afternoon packing the baby's stuff and cleaning & attaching all the newborn bits back onto DSs car seat! Feels like I'm getting ready now! I'm 36 wk tomorrow!

I'm 35 weeks and I've got mine sort of packed... going to take everything out next week when nursery is finished and do it again, I'll no doubt switch to a bigger bag
