Braxton hicks - how early?

I'm 17 weeks now and sure I'm getting braxton hicks several times a day already ( dc2). I know it's normal to get them in tri2, but please come and reassure me that others have had them that early too?

Apparently they happen as early as a few weeks, we just can't feel them. That's what it says in my book, anyway. Can't remember the earliest I've felt them but I'm sure it's normal :)

HaggisNeepsTatties · 14/09/2012 19:06

I felt them from 20 weeks, but apparently you get them all the way through, it's only as the uterus gets bigger that you start to feel them.

JanuaryMommy · 14/09/2012 19:25

I ve had what I think are BHs from about 8 weeks!

sleepybump · 14/09/2012 19:40

From 14wks with dc1 and 15 wks with this one :) totally normal.

Catsmamma · 14/09/2012 19:49

you must be getting my share, 3 babies...never had a BH! ...or never noticed one!

Jakeyblueblue · 14/09/2012 21:05

I had them about 20 weeks.
Everyone laughed at me and said there was no way. Then I showed them how my little bump went hard and they took it back! Grin

About 14 weeks with DS (dc2) with DD (DC1) I never had any!

Homebird8 · 15/09/2012 05:05

I felt them much more strongly with DS2 than DS1. Perhaps that's what 's happening.

furrygoldone · 15/09/2012 05:13

I had then that early with DS, although apparently we all get them from quite early on we just don't all notice.

Badgerina · 15/09/2012 07:35

I has them from about 12 weeks in this pregnancy. MW said they couldn't be, but I know they were. Sometimes if you're dehydrated or have a full bladder they can be worse.

Badgerina · 15/09/2012 07:35

Had! Blush

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 15/09/2012 07:37

With dc1+2 I don't remember any until 32 weeks or so but this time they started around 14/15 weeks.

Nagoo · 15/09/2012 07:42

much earlier with dc2, around 16-17 weeks.

I startedd a thread the same as this :)

DoingTheSwanThing · 15/09/2012 07:43

With my first, about 24 weeks. With my twinnies, more like 13. Scared the crap out of me All very normal.
