At home having had an ERPC yesterday for my third MC this year (20 weeks, 7 weeks and 11 weeks)

I'm feeling a bit bleak about my future prospects

Docs think with clexane from BFP next time I'm in with a chance, but hard for me to have hope right now

Would love to hear from anyone who has been in my position and went on to have sucessful PGs. Thanks

Hi sorry to hear about your losses. I have Hughes syndrome & had 3 m/c but had 2 dc taking clexane & am 34 wks now but instead of clexane using tinzaparin. Don't give up hope, you have a really good chance with clexane/aspirin. X

thank you so much, its so amazing to hear about your 2 dcs and your pg.

Possibly its just the hormone-come down with the preganancy ending yesterday making me feel v low today.

Can i ask, did you have 3 MC and then discover you had hughes, and haven't had a mc since you were on treatment, or have you MC since diagnosis too?? I just trying to work out realistically what my chances might be next time

(I was on clexane this time and it didn't work, but they think maybe this was as i wasn't started till 8+5 and scan at 11 weeks showed baby died at 7 weeks, so they are saying clexane from BFP might work next time...)

I can imagine how your feeling, it's awful. It was discovered I had Hughes after my 3rd miscarriage, I wasn't on clexane when I was pregnant with my dd but she stopped growing & my placenta stopped functioning, I then had 2 more m/c & a health visitor told me about Hughes and said I should ask my gp to test me for it & they did. I then was put on clexane & aspirin from 6 wks & went on to have ds & also in this pregnancy. Ds did stop growing & was induced at 36wks but I am closely monitored throughout. It doesn't stop you worrying though. I really hope you go onto have a healthy pregnancy & of you have any questions just ask x

Clexane plus aspirin worked for me, my baby boy is 5 months old now - before I had him I had recurrent miscarriages and then tested positive for antiphospholipid syndrome. Started the aspirin from bfp and the clexane at 6 weeks after a scan showed a live embryo.

Sorry about your miscarriages - it is ever so hard to keep hope but don't give up just yet as the clexane treatment can work wonders.

I have APS and have 2 kids- first one I had heparin and aspiring but second I opted tp only have aspirin as I was so borderline with the APS. Both my babies were big....so all the extra scans for a small for dates baby made most of the sonographers laugh....chin up - I know how devastating miscarriages can be bu there is lots of hope. Sending you a hug

My best friend has this and has had 5 mcs but has a lovely 2 yo DD and a 26 week bun in the oven! She is on clexane and aspirin!

Don't give up hope :)

I'm so sorry to hear your news. I have had two mmcs and my son had to be born by emcs due to not growing in the womb. I tested neg for aps but the proff who was treating me theorised that my blood only clots and causes problems during pregnancy. I have been on clexane and baby aspirin since week 5 and am now 34 weeks.

I was beginning to think that we wouldn't be able to have anymore children because just thinking about trying again and losing another one was so painful but I'm really hoping that we get to meet this one.

I really feel for you because I remember so clearly what it was like losing our babie, it all feels so very fragile but please dont give up hope xx
