Mucous plug question

Just wondering; for a few days last week I had quite a lot of yellowish mucousy discharge, mostly in the mornings. It seems to have stopped now. Does it sound like I've lost my plug, or just randowm discharge? I'm 36+6 today.

From what I remember last time my plug was a relatively large lump of 'jelly' which came out in one go & was slightly blood stained.

Earnest I'm 36+6 today too! Also having exactly what you describe.

Keep rushing to loo to see if my plug has gone but nope.

Having shooty, stabby pains a lot (which is apparently the head) and keep thinking any minute now I'm going to go into labour :)

I've also gotten into the "any day now" frame of mind, which is going to drive me mad if I have to wait three (possibly five!) more weeks. DD1 arrived at 40+2; I need to just try to forget about it, but every cramp and twinge is making me wonder if this is it.

Me too, this is my first and I'm willing it on when I could have 3 more weeks of nesting being lazy :)

Hi i'm 34+1 and already been getting a lot of the pains and mucus discharge that you have already described. this is my 2nd preg, DS arrived at exactly 39 weeks so hoping this LO arrives about the same time. I get concerned that I will go to the toilet through the day and notice I've lost my plug, but hoping its not for at least another 3 weeks yet.
