Positive test last week, despite having a 3 day bleed the week before, have a scan tomorrow when potentially I could be 7 weeks, so did a test this afternoon as don't want to get my hopes up too much and be very disappointed at scan. It was negative, just repeated at home and only a very very faint line.

Doesn't sound too promising?

Not sure about the test results, I'm sure there are reasons why they could be fainter (different time of day? Different brand of test? Drinking more, so urine more diluted?)), but the bleed last week could have been implantation bleeding.

Hope you get good news at the scan tomorrow.

Thank you.
The bleed was 2 weeks ago and I got my positive pregnancy test last Thursday, I only tested as I was doing ovulation tests and had a smiley faces 4 days in a row and some suggested I do a test and it was very positive then (tested in the evening same brand).

Maybe I failing to progress.... or a false positive....

Try not to torture yourself thinking about what might be. The scan will give you definitive results, hopefully. At least tomorrow isn't too long to wait (although I'm sure it will feel like an age). What time is your scan? Fingers crossed for you x
