I feel sick!

I'm only 4w+3 and I feel so sick all the time. I haven't actually been sick yet but just feel so queasy and tired! I know it's normal and it's how I felt last time-though I do think it's a bit worse this time round!

It's not hyperemesis or anything it's just bog standard morning sickness so I shouldn't really complain, but no-one (other than my husband obviously) knows I'm pregnant yet so felt like a little moan to people who understand!

Thanks all!

Me too! Envy (sicky face not jealous!)

I find eating more protein, sucking on sweets or ice lollies helps to keep on top of it. Some things specifically trigger me off like tea so I have cut it out. I miss Brew. A lot!

I sympathise. Its my first and up until today I've been so so scik, its grim and I feel horrid and rough all the time. I'm just hoping it will all get better after 12 weeks! Xxx

You have my sympathy I feel nauseous constantly but have only vomited after eating sweets/chocolate so they're now on a banned list Sad

HaveALittleFaith My username is from my last pregnancy when I went totally off tea...worst thing that's ever happened to me!! Should actually change it though, my daughter is nearly 2!

Queen Things like granola bars helped me last time so my husband has been instructed to get some on his way home!

Laura It all got better at 16 weeks last time, fingers crossed!

You have my sympathy! I am 33+5 now and thankfully past that stage, but it is horrendous at the time. And definitely the hardest stage of pregnncy, you'll be glad to know! I struggled to get fluids down, and found that a glass of water choc full of ice cubes and with a slice of lemon really helped with that - the cold temp and the citrus are both meant to help. Sucking cola cubes helped too. If it continues and you're really struggling - the combi of an anti-emetic plus acupuncture works very well for a lot of women. Good luck with everything! x
