6 weeks - feeling 'pressure' down there?

I know this is probably entirely normal and you're all going to say omg shut up :) but it's really throwing me. Its not pain and it's not uncomfortable but there's definite....pressure....down there? Like when you have gas but...at the front lol.

Is this normal for early pregnancy? I do keep feeling wee twinges and assume nothing is wrong (I haven't bled or had proper pain...) and that I'm maybe just more aware of the feelings than I was before?

Yes, normal. At least I had similar

Its your uterus growing and stretching. Smile All that baby-building takes some toll on your insides. It gets better (for a bit)

HaveALittleFaith · 13/09/2012 17:41

Yup I'm 7+6 and having the same!

PeshwariNaan · 13/09/2012 17:54

Normal. I had a lot of pressure/ pulled muscle feelings and sometimes light cramps until about 11 weeks. The only way I could describe being pregnant to DH was like having done a massive lower abs workout!

HaveALittleFaith · 13/09/2012 18:03

No wonder it's so tiring! :)

weeblueberry · 13/09/2012 18:59

Thanks. :) BF did mention it might be uterus stretching but I thought it might be too early?

Good to know I'm normal. Well, in this sense anyway. ;)

Not too early. Its doubling in size all the time. Knackering isn't it?

HaveALittleFaith · 13/09/2012 19:20

By week 7 your uterus has grown to the size of an orange! Yes, lots of growth :)

weeblueberry · 13/09/2012 19:31

Hmm what size was it before?

Yeah this is where I realise I know veeeeery little about my body Blush

A pear according to a quick google! I have the 'what to expect' app. It gives you daily and weekly updates. At 6 weeks the baby was the size of a blueberry, 7 weeks it's a raspberry, next week it's an olive! :)

chaseandcatch · 13/09/2012 20:16

I was just about to post the same thing only I'm about 4 weeks. I know it's normal but the intensity of it has surprised me, its making me nervous too.

milktraylady · 18/09/2012 10:45

Hi I had this right from the week I POAS. It is a really odd pressure. At week 10 it's still there- along with regular vomiting & sickness & tiredness oh joy!
