Anterior placenta what does movement feel like later on?

I can feel shuffles and pressure and very occasionally nudges and pokes at the moment, only very low down and out the sides, I'm 18w. This is my third and other two have both been posterior placenta and by this time it felt like I had a bag of puppies in there!
I'm just wondering what it feels like later on, different or pretty much the same as a non anterior placenta? Actually hoping to avoid the bruised ribs and bladder punches!

I have an anterior placenta and have been suffering a lot with bruised ribs, I'm afraid! Not so much the bladder punches, but at the moment (33 weeks) I feel him a lot right at the top of the bump in my ribcage and also on the left side, where his feet apparently are.

I didn't feel anything really until 17/18 weeks and my DH couldn't feel anything until 21 weeks. Since about 28 weeks, though, the movements have become quite strong - but just at the top and on the sides. I feel very little at the bottom of the bump and at the front, but that could be because he's been head down for quite a while now.

I had this with ds2. It meant I didn't feel his movements so much as I had with ds1. Don't think I felt any movement until 22 weeks, whereas it had been 16 weeks with ds1. After that I felt movement at the side of my bump but not the front (v. Uncomfortable tbh).

Rib cage pressure was horrible, I'm afraid.

YY to ribcage pressure. OMG - ribs splayed out like a lizard's ruff. And went up a bra size afterwards. Gibblets got a kicking too, and weird pokes through the sides, not much on bladder until head came down, no stretchmarks, had a neat bump, but it was all inside.

I'm 30 weeks and have anterior placenta too. I really didn't feel any strong movements until about 24 weeks. Now I can I only get them at the top, bottom and sides. I don't have any rib pain at all yet but there is plenty of time!

and I was very breathless too especially at end of seven and eight months, until babe turned. Sorry..... and ... er.... congratulations!!

I have anterior placenta (first child).

I didn't feel anything for definite until 22 weeks. By about 25/26 weeks I was getting proper full on kicks. And a bit of rib pain, not surprising as most of the kicks were up near my ribs (right hand side in my case) and I'm short so not much space for a growing bean.

At nearly 28 weeks I have now found the kicks have mostly stopped but instead I am feeling lots of squirming - "bag of puppies" is a very good description"!

Like Elisa the movement is mostly at the top of the bump although sometimes I think I feel kicks internally quite low down.
