Superdrug tests

I think my af is due any day now (although this is my 2nd cycle since mc so not sure if things will end up being funny). I did a superdrug test this morning as I've heard that they are super sensitive but it was -ve. Do you think that means that I am definitely not pg this month as if they are so sensitive, it would be showing up now?

Hi woody!
I was thinking about you this morning! Are u back? How was hols?
Come join us in conception!!
I'm off to Cyprus today for a week.
When is bfp due? I heard some ppl have bfn until 19dpo so u not necessarily out!

Depends. If your period was due now then you ought to have a positive result if you were pregnant by now. They are very sensitive tests and have always worked for me by 3 days early.
However, it is not long since your mc so you might have ovulated late, and therefore your period would also come late. The only thing to do is to wait a week and test again! Good luck :)

I did a superdrug test day after period due and got a VERY faint line. Slightly stronger the next morning. But I was ovulating later, about CD18, so maybe not enough hormone by then. I tried again a few days after with Tesco (cheap, they're £3.50 or so for two) and got proper positives. Test again tomorrow?

Thank you for the replies. I might wait a few days and then test again, possibly with a different brand. A lot of people on here don't find the cb digital tests particularly sensitive but I was getting positives with those when other brands were giving me negatives when I was waiting for my negative after mc.

lolcbcblemonlime which thread(s) are you on now? Lots of names seem to have changed! Holiday was brilliant - exactly what I needed after mc. Hope you have a lovely time!

I've never got a positive test before the day that my period was due, but Superdrug worked for me on that day. First Response are good too and sometimes do the 2-pack at not a bad price.

If you read the stats in the leaflets of those that say "test x days before your period is due!", the number of pregnant women who actually get a positive test at day x is sometimes quite low.

Hi woody I'm on ttc first child- thread 6 and also the sep one. And one of the mc ones.
There have been quite a few bfp on fruity names so a few of us have added fruit to our names! Hence lemon and lime Smile

With my first pregnancy I didn't find out until 7weeks then with my 2nd the test didn't show positive until over a week after my period was overdue. Hope you get the result you want!

I know its hard trying again after a mc. I lost both of mine 1st at 23 weeks and 2nd at 7 weeks. Stay strong and don't give up!!

Thank you riley - sorry to hear about your mcs.

Thanks secondsop I am not sure exactly when af is due because of a bit of a confusing start to last af and also with this being so close to mc.

I think that I will wait a few days and test again. I might get a fr response test.

I guess it isn't over until af arrives!

Thanks lolcbcb - I've gone back on to those threads.
