I'm 29+4 with DC2 but DS is 8 years old now so it's been a while since I did this whole pregnancy thing!

With DS I remember having a lot of braxton hicks. With this one I've been having braxton hicks for ages but recently they seem a lot stronger. Now when I get them I have to stop whatever I'm doing til it passes.

I honestly can't remember if this happened with DS. Is it normal? I also keep getting loads of aching at the bottom of my bump. Definitely not related to the braxton hicks but again I can't remember if I had this with DS xx

Sounds like my experience. I'm nearly 37 weeks but have been getting BHs since about 30 weeks. Bottom of bump/groin aches a lot. MW told me (when I mentioned it at 34 week appointment) that the aching is because baby's head is vey low in my pelvis. Not sure about the reason for the strength of BHs but I'm hoping it will mean very effective contractions!
