And the eviction begins!

Just wondering if any of you other heavily pregnant ladies have started the eviction process and if so, what are you doing to get things moving?

I am fully aware that baby will come when she wants btw.. But that doesnt mean i can't try everything to safely coax her to come sooner rather than later does it? Wether it works or not, it's something to do to pass the time!!!

So ladies, any suggestions?

Currently 39 weeks!

39+6 here. Have tried: pineapple, spicy food, sex, accupressure points, bouncing on birth ball for hours, walking, cleaning the windows, more sex...

And nothing. Been having irregular contractions for almost a week on and off now, lots of pressure and stinging and stabby cervix pains but has all come to nothing. Possibly thinking this baby won't come out ever.

Heard a G&T can help (I think this is actually the quinine in the tonic) so am going to drink some tonic water and might add gin

Oh and nipple tweaking. Tried that too.

I hope it all kicks off soon for you foxy! Ive tried just about all of that too. Besides the sex, that's been off the cards since conception due to breaking up with babes daddy! G&T sounds nice, think ill give that a try! Ive also been on the EPO tabs, which seem to be doing nothing!

Been having loads of cramps for weeks now(teamed with a fortnight of diarreah and tummy ache TMI) but no tightenings and no other signs really. Those sharp pains down below are a nuisance

Ah yes, I have had a couple of days of the squits too. I was taking rlt capsules until I ran out last week (I live abroad so can only get them mail order here!) same with epo so I haven't been able to give that a go.

I've read that an orgasm releases oxytocin so you could try a bit of DIY if sex is off the menu?

I'm booked in for a sweep on thurs if nothing happens before so I'm just hoping I've got a favourable cervix for it!

Ah i see! It would probably be sods law that little one would arrive as soon as you ordered them!

Good luck for your sweep on thurs! Have to wait till after september weekend for mine as midwife is off on holiday.
