First pregnancy symptoms?

Just wondering what you first signs of pregnancy were, and how early you felt them? Only just started TTC so don't want to spend the next however-long trying to symptom spot without any clue what to look for :)

DS was unplanned so I wasn't paying any attention to my body (have no recollection now if I had been unwell or anything prior to finding out at 7 weeks that I was pg)

I had a VERY sexy dream complete with oooooo....! Only happens when i am pregnant, so knew right away. Must of only been about 4 weeks by then but had dreams like this throughout my first so just knew i was again.

Insatiable hunger- my workmates asked me if I was pg before it had crossed my mind cos I was eating so much. Also metallic taste- which I didn't know was a symptom.

Tiredness, having to get up in the middle of the night to pee and cramps and bloating when period was due - first month and I remember saying to DH that I hoped I'd get pregnant soon as couldn't cope with period pains /bloating when off the pill. We hadn't been trying per se - just stopped trying not to in the run up to our wedding as we were going to start TTC afterwards. Still don't know what prompted me to do the test but was very surprised when it was positive.....

First symptom was what i later understood to be implantation bleeding about the time period was due. Was weird though, very heavy for about 15 mins for two mornings but nothing else. Thought it was period and got really upset and drank lots of wine but when i realised it had finished by morning 2 i did a test. Then nothing except being a bit more hungry until week 4, then the sickness. Oh the sickness...

I had sore/bigger boobs that hurt a bit when I lay on my front in bed and cramps. They are very similar to period symptoms so it's easy to get the signs mixed up.
You can get tests that tell you around 4 days early if you've conceived but make sure you test in the morning if poss as that will have more hormones in it for the test to detect as the levels will be low at the beginning.

A strange pulling sensation from behind my belly button. Probably implantation. Then a general queeziness until the positive test.

I had what I thought was really bad period pain so had a couple of large gin and tonics and a bottle of red wine, period was due that day so woke up expecting it to have arrived and when it hadn't I did a really cheap test because I'm never late. Ds is now fast asleep on my shoulderSmile

Hmm. Exhausted, metallic taste, backache, mildly nauseated, 4-week headache, depressed, extreme brain fog. I'm on Cerazette, have been since 2005. Sex at most every few months (both too tired/busy), probably most recently about 6 weeks ago.

Do I attribute this to having just moved country and being utterly knackered, and suddenly being unemployed and having time to notice feeling tired, or do I go and POAS? Confused

So 3 weeks pregnant (one week after conception?) seems to be the earliest?

One day Went off tea about 5 days before my period was due and I love tea. Just could not stand it! 40 weeks later had my next cup!

I never get any pre-period symptoms so when my nipples became puffy around 8/9dpo i became Hmm

Sore boobs. This started almost straight away. I almost went to the doctor they were so sore as I thought something was wrong.
And sensitivity to smells - again started even before I knew i was pregnant (and I knew very early) - I commented that I could smell a rose in our garden. My husband thought i was mad because it had no smell, my MIL commented that I was pregnant!
now its the constant nausea, the ability to cry at anything and the bad mood

Burning nipples with DS1 and with this very very new pregnancy, same thing. I also got a shocking cold week after conception and then had one unusual bout of nausea. But my boobs gave it away for me this time. Plus sharp stabbing pain which I assumed was implantation.

However, I have only just tested positive so I am waiting to get a stronger second line before I start to believe it. DS1 was the same. Faint line and then got stronger. I always test waaaaay to early!

My boobs felt sore about a week before my period was due, and was sleeping A LOT, I'm now 4+2 and feeling a bit nauseous (no sick yet, just sicky burps!), waking in the night quite a bit then exhausted in the morning!
