So I had SPD/PGP in my last pregnancy starting at around 16 weeks and gradually getting worse till I could barley walk by 36 weeks...
This pregnancy I have been really fine. Even the midwife commented today at my 28 (29) week appointment that I am lucky it's not been like the last time.
So I jogged a short distance for a bus after work today. It was an every half hour bus and I would have been late to pick up 2yr old DD otherwise.
Now I am in agony, I can hardly move. I am in bed and can't get onto my side properly, I can't bend my knees and pull my legs up at all so. And turn over and am
Laying half on my back half on my side in a position that can't actually be good for my pelvis.. I just want to be on my side knees equally apart with a pillow between.
Argh, some one please tell me I'll be better in
the morning!?!? What can I do if I'm not?

No medical basis but may be you will feel better after a good long rest. I am not sure how possible that is with a 2 yr old hopping around but try to get loads of rest. Assume that you have been advised bed rest. Maybe you have just strained a wrong set of muscles. My sis in law had a rather complicated pregnancy with weird aches n pains and she was on bed rest (as in minimal physical activity) after the first 5 months. Definitely its recommended that you remain active during pregnancy, but until u feel better just let that be.

Also, i would say that if one day of rest doesnt help then definitely see a doc. Why not give a call to ur midwife tomorrow n check with her. Wudnt hurt to seek medical advice.

I really hope u feel better real soon.
