discharge - TMI warning!

Have experienced a lot of discharge in this and my previous pregnancies.
Am 39 weeks tomorrow and mw had to send my wee off last night as it contained protein. She seemed confident this was just down to discharge too.

now for the TMI
For the last few days, on ocassion, not every time I have wiped I have noticed a little snot like discharge [barf]! No pink tinge or anything but might this be the infamous plug gradually coming away?

I never noticed anything with my other two hence the possibly daft question.
Baby is 4/5ths engaged so playing the waiting game and sign spotting!

I've had this. Had wee sent off and mw thought it was prob discharge and it was. I've also had large globs of greeny/yellowy snot a few times, i figured it's my plug going, same as you, not blood staining to it. I'm 38 weeks and really want to shift this baby but I think it's just a waiting game now.

Thanks sparklekitty.
Nice to know I'm not alone in the discharge sagas!

Really haven't wanted to shift baby up until today but I woke up every 2 hours to pee last night, eldest DS woke up at 6 and I feel very tired, grumpy and emotional today so any time s/he is ready, so am I!

Sounds like normal preggo discharge to me. I notice in my first pregnancy that the discharge changed from snot like to more watery slimeyness a couple of days before I went in to labour. Currently 34+4 on DC2 so will be watching out for that change in a few weeks but otherwise what you describe seems pretty normal to me. Isn't being pregnant lovely!

SoozleQ you have dashed my hopes Grin!

As nasty as it is and as disappointing for you as this is its all normal! I've got it and had it for 2-3 weeks now and I'm only 9 weeks Grin

Oh I have had plenty from the off - one of the first symptoms I get!

Just wondered about the change in it, but sadly looks like it's not a clue after all!
