Im 32 weeks and would rather wait until after babys born but can not wait that long with such bad pain. It would be with local anesthetic so not put to sleep but still worried..... anyone had this ? Thankyou.

Had two teeth removed not when pregnant and took about 30 secs each.

I'm havi some more eye ops in two weeks time under local as I'm pregnant and have been assured if us perfectly safe. I am bricking it though as it was horrible last time and I had asked for a general this time but now pregnant I can't.

Not sure how much help paracetamol will be though after?? I had fabulous pain killers last time do can't have this time or any brandy!!

Yes I had one out when I was about eight weeks was mortified because I thought being pregnant meant I wouldn't have to! There were no problems at all but took to my bed for the day because I could :o

I had a tooth out when 38 weeks pregnant and it was fine so much better than toothache. I found it a lot easier than having teeth filled TBH

I had on out in my first trimester with local. He tried the freeze spray first as the tooth was really loose then after the anaesthetic injections he pulled it out. Then when it wore off there was no pain.

I had my impacted wisdom tooth out. I was in so much pain before hand as it was infected, I never even thought twice about it.

Paracetamol as pain relief was ok, especially as the extraction and antibiotics did their job in removing the excruciating pain I was in!

I had mine out at 9 weeks. It wasn't really an option to leave in as the pain was unbearable and I wouldn't have coped for 31 more weeks of it. The only downside is that paracetamol wasn't really strong enough, but far better than the toothache.
I had double dose of local anaesthetic as the dentist reassured me that it wouldn't reach baby with it being a local.
Just let your dentist know about bump beforehand.
Hope the pain eases soon xx

I had a wisdom tooth out that was rubbing on gum/cheek. Dentist was more than happy to do it, healed no problem and was free!
