Just interested to know, sorry if this has been asked a million times.

About 6 months for it to look like a proper bump. Im very big atm and still have a fat, blobby bit at the bottom. I seem to develop bumps overnight.

PogoBob · 07/09/2012 19:32

just starting to change now at 24 weeks.

FirstTimeMumma · 07/09/2012 21:03

I started to form a proper bump at about 18 weeks, by 21 weeks when i was having my scan i was pretty huge! I'm carrying quite a big baby though. I'm 38+2 now and the size of a houseGrin

Wheels79 · 07/09/2012 21:05

Thanks for posting this ladymia, I was thinking the same thing. I'm 18 weeks and it feels like just my usual spare tyre or three. I have actually managed to give myself a bruise poking myself to see if I can find a bump under there.

TheDetective · 07/09/2012 21:06

28 weeks it stopped being 2 layers of fat! At 31 weeks it became proper bump like (as long as I wear knickers to hide the overhang!!)

mylittlemonkey · 07/09/2012 21:29

Prob about 12-14 weeks. It's my second though.

applepieinthesky · 07/09/2012 21:33

At about 6 months. I didn't have much of a bump at my 20 week scan and some people hadn't even guessed I was pregnant at that point. Starting to look properly pregnant now at 7 months.

panicnotanymore · 07/09/2012 21:48

I'm 15 weeks and if I lie flat in the bath in the morning I can feel a small hard bump in there. When I stand up I have an impressive amount of bloat Grin

ladymia · 07/09/2012 22:27

thanks everyone! i met a friend (she is 35weeks) for dinner this week and she said you'll see in the next week or so the bump will show.

i am not convinced! i am 13 weeks and just have a bit of flab.

I hated that stage, had so much bump envy. Mine was a proper bump at 24 weeks when standing up, and at 28 weeks it was a solid bump when sitting down. So nice not to just look chubby any more!

whatsoever · 08/09/2012 08:46

Between 15 and 17 weeks. Second pregnancy but my first one that got that far so my first bump, IYSWIM

PurplePidjin · 08/09/2012 09:17

According to dp, about 16 weeks.

In my head i just look like I've hit the pies.

In photos i look pg, and have from about 20 weeks.

Currently 28+1...

ladymia · 08/09/2012 11:24

i look a bit like i have hit the pies but that's mostly because i have! all these great ideas about eating only healthy things yadda yadda went out the window quite early on!

About 14 weeks, it's my first. Now 15 weeks & colleagues etc suddenly started commenting. Bit embarrassed as no one else seemed to show before 20 weeks so people keep commenting that I am huge for this stage Blush

GotMyLittleLamb · 08/09/2012 14:32

I never had a bump :( she arrived at 26+5 and you wouldn't have known I was pregnant. Have such bump envy now!!

terilou87 · 08/09/2012 21:28
