Question about GTT test results

After 2 episodes of glucose in urine, I had GTT today and just got results which thankfully were normal.

Is that definite that I don't have GD then? Are the results pretty accurate or can they get it wrong? I suppose still a bit nervous as to why I've had glucose in my urine twice now

You can get glucose in your urine if you've eaten something sweet. How many weeks are you and do you have any risk factors for GD? I ask because I 'passed' GTT at 25 weeks only for baby to start growing really big around 30-31 weeks. I was diagnosed with GD at 33 weeks. Now at 36 weeks and having CS at 38+4.

Also what was your result? Mine at 25 weeks was 7.3, by 33 weeks it was 7.9 which only scrapes over the cut off but the baby really was measuring huge by US and I had other symptoms - weight loss, ketones in urine etc.

Glucose in urine can be totally normal in pregnancy if you've recently eaten something sweet, I've had it in every past pregnancy with no problems, no GD.
I think Drs & MWs really should explain better, its awful to be worried unnecessarily! Glad your GTT was clear.

I'm 32 weeks and no risk factors at all. I'm not actually sure of the results just that they were 'normal'.

Thanks for your replies!
