Is it true that...

1. ....I have to wash all my new baby clothes in Non-bio washing liquid?

1. ....I will still look fat/pregnant for a month after birth?

1. .....I'll be sad the first few days?

1. ....my boobs will get even bigger (like two sizes) once baby arrives?

1. I didnt wash anything that I bought new, but non bio is advised, i only used it for about 4 months though.

1. If your lucky!! Could be longer. Few people shrink back i think its a myth

1. I got the blues on day 3 lasted until about day 6

1. Around day 4 or 5 my milk Came in an my boobs got huge but soon went down again.

1. Some people say you should, I didn't and both of my babes were fine.

3. Not everybody does, I did get the baby blues with DC1, but not at all with DC2
4. Again not everyone, mine didn't change size at all through my pregnancies with DC1 or 2, but this time with 3 I've gone up a cup size.

1. you can if you want, it's just un case the baby has a reaction to normal detergent.

3. There's a chance you might get a hormonal thing called baby blues where you cry uncontrollably about fuck all. Out of three babies it happemed to me once. The first time.

The answer to all of that is no, but...

1. newborns have such sensitive skin to begin with that every little thing helps, so washing in non-bio to clear out any factory gubbins is just being thorough. Nothing really bad will happen if you don't though.

1. Everyone's different. I was back in my prepregnancy jeans by about 6-8 weeks after, my friend came home from hospital in hers. My ex-SIL still looked pregnant 3 years later.

1. Be prepared for the baby blues when your milk first comes in for a day or two, its hormonal, nothing you can do about it but not everyone gets it. I didn't.

1. Your boobs might get several whole sizes bigger, not just two...

3. Yep. Absurd proportions when milk comes in.

2. I did but I thought I looked amazing and felt so thin. That lasted about 3 months maybe and then I realised I looked fat. BFing melted it all off despite much cake.

4. Yes they did get bigger, but by more than 2 cup sizes!

1. I did, but it's more a precaution than a rule.
2. I did, for at least two months afterwards.
3. I wasn't, but everyone's different.
4. Not only bigger, but they'll feel like they're filled with concrete about 2-3 days after giving birth.
