I am probably asking you tmi here- but

What did your show look like and when did you get it? What did it smell like and how long before labour did you get it?

I think I've lost most of my plug (dunno if this is the same as a show) I've had bleeds recently but my plug was a very large amount of yellowy/greeny snot like substance. Much thicker than normal CM. I keep getting smaller (although again more than normal discharge) amounts when I wipe. Been going on for almost a week. I've also been having much more BH and some contractions etc so I'm hoping I'm kind of on my way (although very aware it could still be weeks)

Mine was several clumps of jelly like snot tinged with blood - but mine only came away after a sweep, so may not be typical.

It was like a big pink bogey

I lost it 15 mins before I started pushing!

Looked like pink goo, I had mine 2 days before I went into labour with DC3, didn't see it all with the other 2.

I didn't smell it though - sorry

Never had anything with either of mine until I was well into established labour, ds i went for a wee at about 5 cm and when I got up there was a big yellow white lump of stuff in the toilet with loads of blood. I screamed and mw came in and said it was just my plug, but it was the whole thing which she hadn't seen often, it was shaped like a funnel!

Yep, big pink/brownish snot like stuff - lovely! (a lot more than i was expecting).

Happened in the morning over a few hours, v minor cramps during the day, full on contractions by 8pm, hospital at 11pm, born 11.30 the following morning.

mine's a brownish jelly, there was a big lump yetserday. (didnt smell it) I'm still waiting for LO to arrive! Officially due tomorrow!

just thought the title and thought "ahh a thread about baby shows, must be like fairs..things to buy etc etc, how lovely, will read that" then realising it was something completely different...that i had never heard of..learn something new every day ehh?
