Am 37+5 with second baby. Since yesterday afternoon I've had irregular 'twinges' right down low in my pelvis but can still feel baby fidgeting all around my abdomen.

I've also been sick a lot & opened my bowels more than usual.

Son was a week early so I was convinced the early stages of labour with him weren't labour so I don't really remember what it felt like, so have no idea if this is similar or not?

I'm really not ready, it couldn't be labour could it?

Your baby is full term from 37 weeks so could be any day now! So it could very well be! Pack your hospital bag just in case. Both mine came 2 weeks early and each time I thought - no it can't possibly be, I'm not ready! Is head well engaged or have you had a show?

Head wasn't engaged when I was at the midwife last week. No show yet. I just worry that after being in denial last time that now I'm looking for things that aren't there!

It might be or it might to be, sorry I know that's not helpful.

I'm 39 weeks and every night for the last week i have had about 4 hours of semi-regular braxton hicks. My bump has definitely dropped so I'm not sure if it's just because it's engaging. This is no. 2 but haven't gone into labour naturally before so have no idea what to expect.

Well nothing has progressed since yesterday but still feeling movement & bump has definitely dropped so I don't think we're set for launch just yet. I have an appointment at the ANC tomorrow so will be able to discuss what's been happening then.
