5 weeks with DC3 and I am showing: is this normal

i only got my BFP a few days ago and this morning I could not do my trousers up! In fact before I even tested I felt bloated.

With DCs1 and 2 I was about 20 weeks before I needed maternity clothes.

Have others experienced such an early bump? If so tell mr it was just hormones and it soon went away and stayed away until a more reas

I had this.

I got really bloated around 4 weeks, it lasted til 6 wks .

Everyone thought I was having twins because there was a obvious bump early.

Im 12 weeks and Ive got a tummy - I think with me though its got more to do with tummy muscles splitting last time (cant remember how to spell the technical term - diastasis recti??) and whilst they've pretty much gone back they havent been back for long as DD is 17mo. So I think everythings just exploded outwards again

At least I'm not the only one!

This morning I feel sick so I guess I'm just getting all my symptoms earlier this time. What a blessing!

IME, yes. Despite being in pretty good shape between pregnancies it's as though my body goes 'A-ha! a baby! this is where I go f-l-u-m-p!" And that's it, wallp, big tummy.

I was very bloated this time (3rd also) straight away until about 9/10 wks when the bloating subsided a bit.
I still had maternity trousers on earlier - about 16 weeks I think, as everything else was too tight!

On the upside my tits are back . Horrible flat-balloon things after two DCs and now nice and solidly plump again.

Am 18 weeks with DC3 and oh my life, felt I started showing even before I'd realised I was pregnant! Was definitely bloating up by the time I'd done the test.

Interestingly though that initial bloat-bump has somewhat subsided, mainly due to feeling absolutely appalling and not being able to eat much (sickness has, annoyingly, got worse during the second trimester!). I have a definitely little bump now and slightly bigger boobs but am still comfortably in non maternity gear and suspect I'll continue in this vein for a few more weeks at least. Was in maternity clothes somewhere between 20 and 25 weeks with the first two, will probably end up being the same with this one. So my early bloat-bump didn't actually mean needing to go into maternity clothes any sooner.

Yes, I had a bump at 5 weeks and it stayed for the whole first trimester - but at about 11 or 12 weeks it started to get smaller, and then t was fairly small till about 16-18 weeks when it got bigger again.

This is also my third child and I'm 22 weeks now, and looking pretty big - I wasn't this big till about 7 or 8 months with dc1.

Mind you I have put on about a stone and a half already, that can't be good.

Is it "bloat" or bump? Both are normal, but the latter might be your first warning of multiples.

Bleurgh, this is me! I am 8 weeks and have a definite bump/bloat thing going on! Doesn't help that I can't bear to have anything tight pressing on my stomach to hold it in!

Am back to work tomorrow after summer holidays off and am afraid people will notice - I am very aware of it! Had to buy maternity trousers the other day as my others are too tight!

Now I'm worried about multiples!!!

lol, I had my first, INSET day back today. I think I look like a pale, bloated mess but two people complimented my having lost weight... Good Luck tomorrow.

I'm really sweating it about multiples. Got my NT scan on Saturday so at least I don't have to hold my breath for long.

Sadly yes, I had an obvious belly at. 5 w from bloat. It's actually smaller now at 17w.
