Thank god for mumsnet, don't feel like I can raise this one over coffee - Me and DH have not particularly had an active sex life since getting up duffed, but the last couple of times we've had sex I've found it painful. Things haven't felt quite right down there since last time, so had a bit of a rummage whilst in the bath and could feel what felt like extra skin near perineal area. Did a very undignified bend over in front of mirror and definitely something there, bit like a skin tag. Also think I may have a pile, although not constipated and not painful. However fanjo area is. Think I'll have to swallow embarrassment and go to docs as worried it could interfere with birth, but anyone have anything similar or know what it could be? I'm 33 + 5 with DC1

Don't know for sure what it is, but you can get skin tags there so that's probably it.

I've no idea and have no medical training, but delights such as vaginal varicose veins can happen when you're pregnant. I'd imagine they might be pureply and hangy outy?

I had a vaginal varicose vein and it felt like a skin tag. It didn't cause me any other issues though and I didn't know it was there (just thought it was a tag) till the midwife commented on it!

Ive got a few skin tags down there and they do sometimes get really sore as if one has torn a bit.

The Drs will have seen alot worse Wink
