Under the bit where it says "relation to brim", there is a little sideways snowman symbol, under that symbol it says "brim"

?

Any ideas? I love my midwife but I have no idea what she is on about this time....

I remember this! I thought it was an infinity sign. Have no idea what it means Grin

It's like 2 circles stuck together, the one on the left is half the size of the one on the right....

She thinks I'm giving birth to a snowmanSad

colditz...sorry can't help with the jargon, but wanted to say hello and hope you are ok...x

Hello Sophable, yes I am wobbling on. I have another Gp appt on Thursday, and if it is an absolute mental emergancy (like if I feel genuinely murderous and the thoughts won't stop no matter what I do) then I will take one of the diazepam the gp gave me.

But, in a way I feel happier knowing that now I am on an antidepressant I am unlikely to feel very much worse when the baby gets here.

Relation of PP to Brim: Doctors and midwives divide the baby's head into 'fifths' and describe how far the head has moved into the pelvis by judging how may 'fifths' of the head they can feel above the bone at the front (or the brim). A figure of 2/5 means that the head is engaged and only two-fifths of it can be felt above the brim.

Clear as mud?

Start worrying if the snowman is wearing a top hat and a carrot nose Wink

thanks Ginger bear, but there are no numbers, just the funnny little snowman sign.
