Urgent urine appointment

Just received a letter from my doctors asking me to go in for an urgent appointment about my last urine test which they took at the hospital.I was given an appointment straightaway and I'm really worried.

When I last saw my midwife she tested it and mentioned no issue.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Pathology lab tests are usually more sensitive than the dipsticks the midwives do. I found this following the birth of DS, my doctor rang me to tell me the sample I gave at 37 weeks had an infection in it, although midwife said it was fine. Started on antibiotics the day I came home from hospital.

Thank you milkyjo. I'm hoping it is just an infection.

I have had this about a million and 3 times when I've been pregnant, it has always been a urine infection. Please try not to worry too much.
