I have drank four pints of milk since 6 o clock and I want more!!

Had a chocolate craving with ds1 in the last month.

Pickles, olives, beet root, gherkins with ds2 throughout.

Nothing so far with this pg, now I feel desperate for ice cold, full fat milk!!

What's your cravings?

Apples, green olives & San pelligrino lemonade! And Marmite on toast :)

Emmiedarling · 30/08/2012 22:26

oh yes - I had the marmite on toast thing - but really early on - first trimester.

Now with only three weeks to go, i want peanut butter and ice (I'm still sucking on bath sponges too but that was a whole wother thread! ;) )

mummy2benji · 30/08/2012 22:30

With ds1 I craved cake and curry - it took a while to lose the post- baby bump! I'm 32 weeks now with little girl :) and craving avocado with ripe juicy plum tomatoes. And ragout-type sauces - the more tomato-ey and veggie the better. And juicy apples. I'm waiting for the cake craving to appear and ruin it all...

jumpingjackhash · 31/08/2012 07:49

Marmote on crumpets and any kind of potato, which is odd as pre pg I never really ate carbs, now I can't get enough!

I'm more surprised though by what i've suddenly gone completely off - chocolate, Diet Coke Shock! and veg, whereas usually I could live on it, I just don't fancy it at all.

I'm only 7 wks though, so hoping the carb thing will ease off!

jumpingjackhash · 31/08/2012 07:50

Marmote?! Marmite!

panicnotanymore · 31/08/2012 08:34

Orange juice and cheddar, which is weird as pre-pregnancy both gave me horrendous migraines, and at the moment neither do. I'm making the most of it.

I've gone off milk, tea, peanut butter and oatcakes, and I usually love those

seabuckthorn · 31/08/2012 08:40

Lemons! Especially lemon drizzle cake- warm and homemade.
Lemonade- 7up or innocent's 'this water'.
Lemon curd- odd one as pre pregnancy I hated the stuff.

Sadly third trimester tiredness has kicked in and I can't face making any cake. Sad

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 31/08/2012 09:52

Watermelon! I must have eaten 1/2 a water melon every day during tri 1 and 2 Shock

Lexiindisguise · 31/08/2012 23:17

I've gone off coffee. Used to drink double espressos, now the smell makes me feel awful Sad

MyDaydream · 31/08/2012 23:37

Pineapple for me, pre cut, slightly over ripe and super tangy is the only type that will settle it.

Traceymac2 · 31/08/2012 23:49

With all of my pregnancies I have been addicted to eating ice from 30 wks +. on my recent pregnancy I munched my way through a 2kg bag every 2 days. It was the first thing I nought of when I woke, even when I visited people I had to bring some with me! I still quite like it now but can live without it! Dd is 15 wks.

SammyB30 · 31/08/2012 23:53

Orange juice! I get a bit crazy if there isn't any available when I'm thirsty. Same as first pregnancy - I drank a litre before work everyday! Until I realised quite how poorly that much oj will make you!

Signet2012 · 01/09/2012 00:00

Blue slush puppies from one particular shop.

Ryvita and Philadelphia

Pickled onions

Cake and chocolate Wink

Just food in general really Blush

PeshwariNaan · 01/09/2012 08:40

Anything lemon - lemonade, lemon sorbet, etc.

Chocolate, hugely - but I'm trying to cut down on that one...

Rachog · 01/09/2012 08:47

With all three pregnancies I have craved milk, dry white bread and bath sponges.

I started just sniffing them and squeezing warm water through them but soon progressed to sucking the water out of them, much to dp's horror when he saw me one day!
emmiedarling it's surprisingly common.

panicnotanymore · 01/09/2012 14:02

I have a new one. Corn on the cob. I hate corn on the cob.... always have done... it's gross... BUT today I just had to buy some, and now I have burnt fingers, burnt lips, melted butter all down my front, and bits stuck between my teeth. Attractive (not that anyone cares anyway what with me being a fat blimp and all Grin)

ZuleikaD · 01/09/2012 16:39

Aubergines. Sliced, dipped in olive oil and roasted. I could happily eat three whole ones at a go at the moment but am restraining myself for fear of looking peculiar in front of DH. And cheese. There's no such thing as enough cheese.

marshkat · 01/09/2012 17:21

Slush puppies, pick a mix sweets, marmite and milk!!!! I think as ive recently stopped ww diet any food in general is a craving but more so the above!!

rahrahrahblah · 01/09/2012 20:20

Juice! I was drinking a litre a day for about a week then had to stop myself as it can't be healthy to drink that much. Also it's really expensive! So now I am drinking the not so healthy robinsons orange squash. It gives me a similar feeling to drinking juice but is not so sugary (I hope) and is cheaper. Because I'm drinking more I'm not really eating any more food that I did prior to pregnancy, guess the liquid fills me up. Reading everyone else's cravings it was things like watermelon and pinapple that had me drooling, I think it's the high liquid content Grin.

AbbyRue · 01/09/2012 21:37

Ice
Plain boiled rice with KFC chicken Blush
Can't stand milk and smell of coffee

Ihatepeas · 02/09/2012 13:37

Also loving milk.. Drinking on average 3pints a day! Hubby said he may need to invest in a cow to live in the garden at this rate!!

senioroafdog · 02/09/2012 21:30

Mine is not food....it's washing powder and fabric softener!! I absolutely love smell of them at the moment (38+2) and was the same when preg with dd1.....rather partial to a sniff of ciff power spray as well. Really weird!!!Grin ( although everything in the house is super clean so it has advantages!!)

2blessed · 03/09/2012 14:02

I'm loving cheese, especially melted; nectarines, cherries, milk (never really been a milk drinker) and the odd mcdonalds apple pie

247Cath · 03/09/2012 21:29

Pastrami and gherkin sandwiches, Pickles, salt and vinegar crisps, marmite on toast.

Totally gone off coffee and chocolate -previous staples!

dontcarehow · 05/09/2012 09:36

I wish I had cravings, I've gone off food all together and its only out of habit/ me forcing myself that I manage 3 meals a day. When I do though I usually want cheese based stuff and potatoes and pasta, and otherwise things that are low in fat as fat gives me heartburn. Completely gone off chocolate and tomatoes though :(
